Visit the Roland DG Booth at FESPA 2017 for your chance to win a GR-640 cutter*!
At FESPA 2017, taking place in Hamburg from 8th-12th May, as yet another added incentive to visit the Roland DG booth (HALL B7, BOOTH E20), visitors will have the chance to win their very own CAMM-1 GR-640 cutter*!
Launched in March this year, the new CAMM-1 GR cutter series boasts the fastest throughput in its class, delivering up to 1,485mm per second, as well as an impressive 600g of downforce.
Use the GR on its own or pair with a printer for a versatile print and cut workflow
Offering total flexibility, the CAMM-1 GR cutter is the ideal stand-alone cutter or, combined with an existing printer, it offers a versatile and productive print and cut solution.
Featuring the Roland Quadralign™ optical registration system, the GR automatically recognises printer crop marks on printed media to enable you to combine large format printers with a GR cutter for an accurate and efficient contour cut graphics workflow.
Included in the GR package, Roland CutStudio software allows designers to quickly and easily create, enlarge, reduce, re-position, rotate and mirror images. BMP, JPG, STX, AI, and EPS file formats are all supported.
CAMM-1 GR cutters are also compatible with VersaWorks Dual and other leading RIP software and plugins for Adobe Illustrator (Mac and PC) and Corel Draw (PC) are available as additional web downloads.
Versatility – an unrivalled choice of media options
With its impressive cutting power and variable pinch roller pressure, the GR is compatible with a huge range of media; from sign vinyl and thick reflectives, laminated graphics and sandblast masking, to thin window tint, soft flock and much more. Plus, the GR cuts and creases cardboard for realistic packaging prototypes.
An intuitive overcut function, which emulates tangential cutting, delivers sharp, clean corners on challenging media. And for die-cut decals, a dual position cutting carriage enables standard and perforated cutting.
Visit the Roland booth to discover true print and cut choice
On the booth, visitors will be able to see the new GR in action as a stand-alone device and working in combination with Roland’s eco-solvent and UV-LED printers as part of a seamless print and cut workflow.
At FESPA Roland will also be showcasing its extensive print / cut portfolio, demonstrating the real choice it offers to print service providers and sign-makers with dual-device solutions and its TrueVIS integrated print & cut series. Both options offer simultaneous print and cutting in a single workflow, where the RIP, ink and device have been built to work harmoniously together.
